Frequently Asked Questions
1.) “Do you accept
purchase orders?”-
Yes. Just send an email
to
info@minuteman-systems.com indicating what you wish to order.
Include a Purchase Order number and shipping address and we will ship
your order with an Invoice.
2.) "I have a
laptop and a desktop computer - do I have to buy 2 copies of
MinuteMan?"
Short Answer - No.
Full Answer -
A license is permission for one person to use the program. If you're
going to alternately work on two machines, you only need one license.
HOWEVER - if you install it on multiple machines and multiple people
may be using the program, you need to buy multiple licenses.
3.) "Do I have to
make a new purchase when you upgrade the program?"
Your original
purchase entitles you to free lifetime upgrades. You should be able to
install the new copy over the old one and have it come up in
registered state. If it doesn't, send an email to
info@minuteman-systems.com and we'll send you new registration
information.
4.) "Is there
a networked version of MinuteManPlus?"
There is not a
networked version in the sense of having a central “server” program
and then separate client applications running on each of multiple
users’ PCs. However, you can approximate this using file-sharing. Put
the commonly used project files on a central file-server location in
your network. Users, each with a copy of MinuteMan on their PC, can
then access the project files and work on them. It will be dependent
upon the file-sharing privileges of your network to control who has
access to the files. Also make sure your network 5dministration
has periodic centralized backup procedures.
7.) Can MinuteManPlus accept or create Microsoft Project "MPX" or
"MPP" Files?
The program read and write
Microsoft Project "MPX" files. The list of tasks, start/end/duration,
links between tasks, and resources are transferred by this method.

information
7.) "Do you
have a MAC version of the program?"

have used a ‘windows emulator ‘ to run MinuteMan on machines from
Apple. Click Here for more information.
