Topic: Gantt Chart

Click to EnlargeA Gantt Chart or Timeline is a method to show when tasks happen. The left hand side of the Gantt Chart is a column listing tasks individually. To the right of each task in the Gantt Chart, a box is overlaid on a calendar showing when the task occurs.
With MinuteMan,
  1. The ZoomIn/ZoomOut buttons allow you to magnify-in or step-back the field of time displayed on the Gantt Chart, from as little as an individual day out to a full 2-year view.
  2. Buttons For +/-D, +/-M etc allow you to "slide" the view sideways by Day, Month, etc.
  3. To the right of each task's box, you can optionally display text of the Description, Start, End, or Duration of the task.
  4. Tasks on the Critical Path (see PERT Chart) are indicated in RED
  5. While not shown in the drawing, the task boxes can optionally have bars added to indicate %Complete and if the task is Late
